Itinerary

The 7-day vacation begins with an early pick-up from the airport or your hotel in Fes. We next go to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of the royal cities. We'll see Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Lunch is on the house. We next travel 30 kilometers from Meknes to see the ancient Roman remains of Volubilis. It has been properly kept since it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features several exquisite mosaics spread throughout, as well as old pillars and archways.

After seeing the ruins, we go north via Ouazzane to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. The city is also known as the Blue City. The city is well-known for its blue-painted houses and lanes. Stay at a hotel for the night.

Feel free to explore the blue city after breakfast. Then we travel across the Rif mountains to Rabat. Rabat is one of Morocco's imperial cities and the country's current capital. Stay at a hotel for the night.

We leave Rabat after breakfast and travel down the coast to Casablanca. The city is Morocco's economic hub and biggest metropolis. First, we will go to Hassan II Mosque, the continent's second biggest mosque. We then go to the Casablanca Cornish. Finally, we go inland to Marrakech, a red city and imperial city. Feel free to roam around the well-known Jemaa El-Fna plaza. Stay the night at a hotel or Riad.

Following a hearty breakfast, we will see the highlights of Marrakech with a native guide. The itinerary includes visits to the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque. Also, take a trip around Morocco's biggest traditional souk. Lunch break at the Jemaa El-Fna plaza. Later, you visit the Koutoubia mosque, Marrakech's biggest, as well as the Majorelle garden. Finally, make your way to your hotel. You are free to explore Jemaa El-Fna on your own.

We pick you up early in the morning from your Marrakech hotel. Then travel across the breathtaking High Atlas highlands and over the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. After breakfast, we take you up to tour one of the studios where many movies were filmed. Then proceed to Rose valley. A Rose Festival is held yearly in May, when the people sell their rose goods. After that we visit Todra Gorges, the passage of Todra river has carved out a towering red cliff-sided canyon across the highlands. Feel free to stroll among the gorges and absorb the beauty of the area.

Then we continue our trip via Touroug, Tinjdad and Erfoud town. After that we reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. You will swap to camels to traverse the sandy desert. After that a halt will be arranged for you on top of a high dune to view the sunset. Then proceed to the camp. Where you may enjoy the Berber drums music while dancing around the campfire, beneath huge open sky of stars. Dinner and stay at the desert tent .

In the final day of the 7 days journey. You get up early morning to ponder the lovely dawn in the midst of the desert. Free time for breakfast, then you return on camels to Merzouga where the driver awaits. Then we leave the desert to explore Rissani town, the historical capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains an important trade town in the area, with a huge souk busy on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. After a walk in Rissani souk, we proceed to Erfoud where we visit one of the studios of petrified marble.

After that, we travel down the Ziz river, we halt for a panoramic view of the Ziz valley. Free time for lunch in Midelt. Then we go to cedars woodland, where the Barbary Macaques dwell. Feel free to feed them while exploring around the forest. After that we visit Ifrane, noted for its low temperature, snow and the alpine-style residences. No surprise it is nicknamed the Switzerland of Morocco. Finally, we drop you off to the airport or your lodging in Fes. End of the tour.
