Itinerary

During the first day of your 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech, you’ll travel through the large cedar forest of the Middle Atlas, home to the Atlas macaques. Then we’ll continue on to Errachidia through the Ziz valley. From there we’ll reach the city of Erfoud, the capital of dates.

We take a little break before continuing on to Merzouga, where our Desert Adventure will begin. As the caravan driver leads us down a trail in between the huge dunes of Erg Chebbi, our journey takes place on the backs of camels and take in the sunset among the expansive Moroccan dunes, before eating a great dinner served around the campfire in our Sahara camp, under the stars

A Merzouga desert discovery tour is a great way to explore the vast, sandy dunes of the Moroccan Sahara and experience the rich culture and traditions of the region. Merzouga is a small village located on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, which are some of the largest sand dunes in the world, towering up to 150 meters high.

A typical Merzouga desert discovery tour would include a visit to the village of Merzouga and a camel ride into the heart of the Sahara desert to spend a night under the stars in a traditional nomadic camp. Along the way, you would have the opportunity to experience the unique culture of the Berber people who have inhabited this region for centuries.

In the morning, you can watch the sunrise over the dunes and enjoy a traditional breakfast before heading back to Merzouga on camelback.

The third day of our five-day vacation is the day we will leave the Sahara desert of Merzouga and travel to a new location. From there, we'll continue our Fes Desert adventure to the Todra Gorges, traveling through Rissani and Tinjdad. After seeing the breathtaking gorges, you would appreciate the area, which is regarded as one of the most beautiful tourist destinations. Our next stop will be Tinghir, where we will explore the town's historic "Mellah."

From there, we travel through stunning scenery until arriving at the Berber settlement of Imeder. We next proceed to Boumalne Dades to explore the valley. Then we follow the Dades valley to Kelaa Mgouna to learn about local rose production. Spend the night at a local hotel with dinner and prepare for the next day.

Our tour starts in Ouarzazat, a charming city in the heart of Morocco, known as the gateway to the Sahara desert. You'll visit the iconic Kasbah of Taourirt, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and explore the city's vibrant souks, where you can find a variety of Moroccan handicrafts, including pottery, textiles, and leather goods.

Next, we'll take you to Ait Ben Haddou, a medieval city and UNESCO World Heritage site that has been featured in several Hollywood films and TV shows, including Game of Thrones. You'll walk through the narrow streets of the city and visit the famous Kasbah, where you'll learn about the history and culture of the Berber people who inhabited the area for centuries.

Finally, we'll head to Marrakech, the "Red City," there to spend the whole night and get ready for the next day.

In the next morning and after having breakfast in the Riad, you will explore Marrakech, known for its vibrant souks, stunning palaces, and bustling city life. You'll visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs, where you'll learn about the fascinating history of the city and its people.

In Marrakech, you'll have the chance to explore the famous Djemaa el-Fna square, where street performers, food vendors, and snake charmers create a lively and colorful atmosphere. You'll also have the opportunity to try some of the delicious Moroccan cuisine, including tagine, couscous, and mint tea.
